G'day Yowiedan,

Although i wasn't certain at first, it seems that you have got a a few frames of a dooligahl. If you like, can you give me the model of your camera and the field of view? If you are certain of the distance at eighteen metres, I might be able to do a few calculations for you, sometime over the next week or so.

Hey neil

Yeah the camera is a 2005 Panasonic NV-GS27 it was a cheap model when I bought it only $500 to buy as my budget was tight only bought it to film my twins when they were playing sport it has 30x zoom.At the time when filmed yowie in background it wasn't in zoom,I also measured the area with a tape measure and its 18mtrs or I think 52 foot away.

Hi there thylacinehunter

Welcome to the forums (thumb up) Have you have any stories/experiences with either Thylacines, Big Cats or Yowies?

If so please share, if you wish, make a new thread.

Hey Yowiedan

That's some interesting footage you have there. Just curious as to when you noticed it was on the film as it seems to have been caught by accident?

G'day Hairy_man_Dan,

Recently I asked Dan to tell the whole story of collecting his video. I'm not much of an interviewer and google hangouts screen share was new to me but I think he told the story pretty well. (Runs for 50 mins)

Still looking.

Hey Dave

Thanks for sharing that, it answered my question. As for what's on the video I must admit it looks pretty convincing, especially the first second or so where it appears to me there is a distinct movement of an arm.
