Can someone identify this print please.
It was found on a firetrail in the Tindery Mountains behind Michelago in basically what was once a small puddle on the track. I'm thinking it's not a feral dog because it does not have any claws and the mud was still quite soft. Could it be a cat? If it is it's a big one maybe? The lighter is a large standard Bic. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Hey David
I am no expert but I would say it does look cat'ish.
I might move this thread to the Big cats Forum in a few days you might get a better response.

Looks like cat tracks to me mate if it was wild dog or dingo ud see the claws
Looking at my cats paws compared to my lighter if it was just a plain old tabby cat gone wild it would be have to be massive to have paws that big

Thanks mate. Yes I would have expected claws if it were a dog. Just adds to the mysteryThecreeper wrote: ↑Wed Apr 21, 2021 5:46 pmLooks like cat tracks to me mate if it was wild dog or dingo ud see the claws
