My Brother is a Hairy Man, by Ida Kannenberg and Lee Trippett, published 2009.

After reading the book's introduction by author, Lee Trippett, my expectations for this book were set very high. An interesting book title, a great front cover, and Lee had been a Bigfoot researcher for 40 years with an outlook which reminded me of a few members on this forum.
But then I read the introduction from the book's co-author, Ida Kannenberg, and that's when my expectations went South.....

This book is what can happen when a sincere Bigfoot researcher (Lee) teams up with a psychic (Ida). To be fair, Ida does warn the reader early on in the piece on page 13, that if the idea of Bigfoot being created by Ufo people from the planet Arcturus is too rich for your blood, "then go away."
That's sound advice!
I had to turn the page. Ida is running the show in these pages as she channels information from a 6 foot tall grey alien named "Maez" who is a monitor for one Bigfoot in particular, named "Wipi". Understandably, Lee asks Ida to ask Maez to ask Wipi, if Wipi would be kind enough to donate his footprint in some fresh clay at a site of Lee's choice.
Wipi, ofcourse is too shy, and after repeated failings, the rest of the book is Ida's.
As the book meanders along, it is revealed Bigfoot like all humans are the product of experimental genetics from the Arcturians. The implanted Bigfoot have different powers and abilities to the Bigfoot that are Earth born, and inter breeding and birth defects among Bigfoot is a problem. Oh, and Bigfoot have alien implants that turn every Bigfoot into a spy for the Arcturians to monitor what us humans are up to.
Ida finally reveals she was abducted in 1940 and implanted with alien chip. It's also revealed she is well in her mid 80's when writing the book.
I wish I had read that in the introduction.
