A hunter's encounter

Just received the below and am sharing it here with his permission:
I need to tell you my encounter that happened the second Saturday of November of 2010 in central Texas one day. Let’s just say I don’t hunt anymore....lol
So, I worked late Friday which put me up later Saturday than planed. So I decided on a late day hunt. Figured I’d go out around 3 pm and sit in the pop up ground blind till dark.
I got there just before 3 pm and got ready and headed out....by that time it was about 10 after.
As soon as I hit the woods I smelt a horrid smell. I was still a good 75 yards from the blind. The smell was of death, but not just. I’ve never smelt this smell before. It was as if a dead animal had sat in the sun and got real fowl, but it also was a mixture of other smells. The closest I can describe is that of a dead rotting animal mixed with a wet dog that had never had a bath and a porta can full of piss and s#@t....I stopped and looked around for the dead animal.... nothing...kept going...
There was a game trail that you could follow and then break off from it and it would bring ya to the back of the blind....I never took that way....I always went through the woods to a fence line and then turned left and followed the fence to the blind....I finally got to the fence line and the smell was a bit stronger so I stopped to look around for the dead animal again....but again nothing. So I turned left and started to the blind....
I was probably 50 yards from the blind and could see someone at the blind...I took my rifle of safe and kept going...a little closer I said in my head, well it’s not dad, it’s a hunter....a little closer and I could tell his head was in the pop up blinds window...I thought “funny a hunter in a gilley suit”....a bit closer, someone in a Bigfoot suit, well that’s a good way to get shot by someone like me....and at around 30 to 40 yards from it is when it either heard or smelt me....startled it pulled it’s head out and we looked eye to eye at each other for what seemed for ever....but was probably 15 to 20 seconds...no trees or brush between us....clear view....I was frozen....since I didn’t move it stomped the ground and grunt growled at me....I bet I jumped a good foot....lol
But still frozen....then it turned and walked away from me down the fence line to an intersection were the fence came off the fence line in front of it and pushed the fence down on top as it stepped over the fence...looking back at me once like Patty in the Paterson/gimlin video walked across a field looking back halfway across then again as he stepped Ofer another fence, but grabbed a tree like a chimp with its thumb pointing down...
Stepped into the woods and disappeared....I didn’t smell or hear it anymore....
But I got a clear look of it from head to toe....face, muscles moving under the fur, mid tarsal break in the foot halfway up....everything.
So yeah, that was the hunting killer for me. They look quite human in the face....Neanderthal like. The one I seen was orangutang in color with caucasian skin tone....between 8 and 10 foot tall, and was jacked with muscle.....I mean like a bodybuilders tone....and there was no mistaking it for male....lol
My doodle of it with a me size quick sketch for size comparison....I’m 5’8” or 5’9”....
(I will add his drawing when I get back to my office and home computer)
